Image of Maria Cyre with the follow biography: Hello, my name is Maria Cyre and I am delighted to be teaching with West Edmonton Play School! My passion is caring for children and teaching through play. I have been with WEPS for 14 years and one crucial part of my success is that I consider all children to be very unique. You cannot always treat them the same way. I also have a LEvel 2 Early Childhood diploma from Grant MacEwan University. I am originally from Ecuador, South America and I speak fluent spanish. I have lived in Canada for 40 years, I am married and I have 2 wonderful children as well as 2 beautiful granddaughters. As a family we enjoy the outdoors together and activities such as camping, fishing, and relaxing by the fire.
Image of Gabrielle Collins with the following biography: Hi! My name is Gabrielle Collins and I am a preschool teacher with a deep love for childhood education. I strive for advocating for all children and creating an environment that encourages children to feel supported. Seeing a childs face light up when they learn something new or overcome a challenge is truly inspiring and rewarding. Outside of the classroom I am a mother of two beautiful girls. My favourite things to do are baking, bbqing on the smoker and tending to my beautiful garden. In the fall I enjoy pumpkin spice lattes, fall walks, and pumpkin patches! I am excited to create a joyful and nurturing environment for your child to learn and thrive in.
